I was raised in a small mix farm in Romania, close to Danube, since a small child I took care of my animals (chicken, ducks, turkey, rabbits, cats, dogs, goats, pigs, cows, horses). I had no idea until starting college that my years spent at my farm and helping to raise and take care of animals would prepare me to become a Veterinary Surgeon.
I studied at the University of Veterinary Medicine of “Spiru Haret “ Bucharest and after qualifying in 2016 I joined a small animal practice with predominatly soft tissue and orthopaedics cases, where I gained a lot of basic information about my first love - soft tissue surgery and orthopaedics.
I left my country 2 years after graduation and arrived in the UK, trying something new, a new chapter, new challenges.
I joined a small animal veterinary clinic in the Cambridgeshire area, where I applied my basic knowledge and also developed my skills. Five years later I joined this lovely hospital, South Lincs Vet Group, where I found a team of professionals who care for their patients, strive for excellence for first opinion practice and are continuously searching for improvement and perfection through their staff .
My next ambition is to start a post graduation certificate course, either soft tissue or orthopaedics.
In my off time I like to recharge my “batteries “ doing hiking, travelling with my partner, wildlife recreation and cycling.
