I always wanted to be a Veterinary Nurse from a very young age and I am now chasing that dream. After leaving school I completed my animal management qualification and worked at a local farm park for 2 years, where I gained lots of knowledge working with a variety of amazing species including rare breed farm animals, reptiles, small mammals, reindeer, meerkats and birds of prey. I then entered the veterinary profession at a local practice working as an animal nursing assistant and Student Veterinary Nurse for 2 years before moving to the South Lincs Vet Group.
I enjoy being able to interact with clients and their pets and helping them in any way possible to make coming to the vets a nice experience for everyone involved. The job is extremely varied and I am learning new skills every day and no two days are ever the same.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my partner Elliott. We spend a lot of time walking and exploring new places. When not walking you'll find me at the stables with the horses, spending time with friends or baking lots of yummy treats for family and friends.
We have a cat at home called Digby who we rehomed 4 years ago after his previous owners circumstances changed and we couldn't imagine life without him, he brings so much joy to our home.
