I started working within the veterinary industry in June 2013, after a big career change from banking to following my true passion to work with animals and become a veterinary nurse. After two years of hard work, I qualified in April 2018.
I joined South Lincs Vet Group in February 2019, you will find me mainly at the Heckington Branch where I am lead RVN. I am thoroughly enjoying the challenge of building up a new branch practice, and building relationships with new and existing clients and their pets. In addition I have a keen interest in Laboratory diagnostics and medical nursing, you will often find me happily looking down a microscope!
Outside of work I attend a weekly art group, I have enjoyed art from a young age and love trying lots of different types of mediums. At home I have two rescue cats, Maggie and Autumn. The names of my five rescue guinea pigs Elizabeth, Margaret, Beatrice, Victoria and Albert were inspired by royal history; something I have a keen interest in.
