Ever since I can remember, I have had a passion for animals and wildlife. As a child, I wanted to follow in the footsteps of a character in my favourite comic and have an animal hospital. I would take in every waif and stray that I could and help them back to health where possible.
When I left school, I started a career with horses, gaining qualifications in this area and even spent 2 years as a groom in Austria, I look back fondly on this time.
I started my Veterinary nursing career in 2003 and was given the opportunity to do my nurse training much later with South Lincs Vet Group.
After qualifying in 2018, I felt ready for a new challenge and became part of the management and Client Care team. I enjoy problem solving and the daily challenges that come with this role from both staff and our clients.
At home, I enjoy spending time with my dogs, cats and ferrets who keep me busy. I also enjoy photography and get out into the countryside with my camera when I get the chance.
