I have always been passionate about animals. I did a year at college doing 1st diploma in animal care in the hope that when I turned 17, I could start my nursing career. While waiting to get a place in a veterinary practice, I worked in Kennels. In my time there I worked up to the position of manager running the day to day operations of the Kennels. I loved my job but always got overly attached to the animals.
I then found a receptionist job at a small veterinary practice and worked my way up to Animal Nursing Assistant and I was there for about 9 years. I loved my job role there but I took some time out to have a child. When my son was old enough to go nursery, I couldn't wait to get back to the job I love and have been here at Sutterton Veterinary hospital for over a year.
I have two indoor rabbits Dave and Dory, they are my babies and are now 8 years old. I love baking in my spare time and family time.
