Growing up I changed my mind as often as the weather on what I wanted to do with my life! I grew up with pets from the age of two, and it wasn’t until we unfortunately had to say goodbye to our 14 year old cat Tuppence at the vets when I was 16, that I realised what I wanted to do. Seeing all the staff at the vets be so comforting at a very difficult time I knew I wanted to one day offer that same support. I studied Animal Management level 3 in Cambridge and my love for animals grew even stronger!
For 4 years I worked for a phone network trying to figure out what to do with my qualification, and then fell pregnant with my beautiful son. When he turned 1 I had a change of career and started working for a vets as a receptionist part time, I loved it and knew I wanted to go on to do my nursing.
I joined South Lincs Vet Group in July and I am currently working in the Sutterton Veterinary Hospital. I’ve been made to feel very welcome and I learn something new everyday! I especially enjoy looking after recovering surgical patients.
Outside of work you will mostly find me doing general mum duties, and taking my 3 year old on days out such as the farm, where he shows his love for animals of all different species! I also enjoy experimenting with makeup and am a big foodie too!
