I have always wanted a career helping animals. After studying Animal Welfare at University, I worked within dog rescue and behaviour training for many years. The birth of my son led me to a new career path and so my journey into the veterinary world began by joining the fabulous reception team at Sutterton!
The role of Veterinary Receptionist is challenging, yet rewarding... one of the most enjoyable aspects is that I get to meet so many different people and their pets. It is lovely hearing the different stories our clients share with us, whether this be a fond memory or a funny anecdote!
I understand that coming to the vets can often be a family affair, in sometimes emotional circumstances. I enjoy meeting your little ones, and hope we can make the visit a little bit better for them, whether this be a kind chat, friendly smile or an animal themed activity book!
I am primarily responsible for our medicines and stock and I particularly like keeping our toy section full of wonderful treats for your pets to enjoy!
Time away from work is spent with my Wonderful Husband, Amazing Son and Gorgeous Dog. Spending time with my family is very important to me and my favourite thing to do. I also love reading and when my little one is in bed, I can often be found snuggled up on the sofa with my dog and a good book!
