I started my career in veterinary nursing after a short period of work experience in a small animal practice in Holbeach at 16 years old. I fell in love with the job and knew straight away that this was the career for me. I started my training and qualified in December 2008. Shortly after qualifying I became a Clinical Coach, supporting students through their training. Our students nurses are the next generation of Veterinary Nurses! I thoroughly enjoy passing on my skills and knowledge, and helping students achieve their goals. I also have a keen interest in running nurse clinics and also surgical nursing. I love being able to utilise my skills and carry out schedule 3 procedures when I can.
In 2012 I was promoted to Head Nurse , a role I have always taken very seriously, ensuring that my patients and clients get the highest level of care that they deserve. As a head nurse I am responsible for the day to day running of the practice.
When I am not a work I am kept busy with my daughter, husband and my 3 dogs and 4 cats.
