Emma Wood

My name is Emma and I am a student animal care assistant at the Freiston branch. I have been working here for 2 years in January and love every moment of it. I started as a kennel assistant but I have now progressed and I am currently doing an animal care course and hoping to start my Veterinary nursing course in September 2022. Every day is different and I am always learning new things. It is such a rewarding feeling helping all the patients, and supporting the clients through their pet’s journey, even the tough parts.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my boyfriend going away to new places and going out with friends. At home, I have my cat named Fifi who I rescued from the practice after just 2 months of working here. She is crazy and I’m so grateful to have rescued her to give her a loving home.
